We are organising the public observation for Perseid meteor shower.

Date:  12th August 2026

Time: 10pm until next morning

Location: Lim Choon Kiat Observatory

(use google map for accurate location)

Meteor shower is best viewed with naked eyes. No special equipment needed.

However, you are encourage to bring your camera. Do bring warm clothing, food, mat or something to lie down, mosquite repellent, etc.

No registration needed. Come anytime after 10pm.

 

Take note:

Park your car on the left side along the road leading to the location (observatory is on the right). 

It is a kampung area. Do keep the noise down.
